There is a lot more to Bratislava than just the quaint Old Town. Thanks to its unique location where the Carpathians meet the Danube the city seems to have two distinct parts. The North and West of the city are hilly and forested while the South and East are flat. The Bratislava Castle sits on the last hill overlooking the Danube and the Old Town spreads right below.

During our Panoramic City Tour of Bratislava you will be taken into the hills above the Castle to enjoy the breathtaking vistas of the Castle and Old Town from above. You would have never thought how widespread Bratislava is. Naturally, in this quarter you will see some of the most expensive residences in the city with fantastic panoramic views.

You will get off at the Parliament building standing next to the Castle. From here you will see into Austria (2 km as the crow flies) but also you get the best view of the Castle. You enter the extensive Castle grounds to reach more stunning lookout points on terraces overlooking the Old Town right below with its sea of terracotta grooves and spires. Finally, you will be driven to the other bank of the Danube. Here you can take the elevator into the UFO-looking structure on top of the tower of the bridge 90 m above the river. The unbeatable bird’s eye view perspective of the Bratislava, its Old Town as well as the new downtown by the riverbank will take your breath away.
